Evergreen Haven started with a simple promise: to give every person in our care the same dignity, warmth, and attention we would want for our own family.
In 2022, my family and I opened Evergreen Haven because we wanted to build something we would be proud to place our own parents in. The vision was simple: a small home where every resident is known by name, where the food is real, the caregivers are consistent, and families never have to wonder how their loved one is doing. That idea guides everything we do. How we hire and train our team, how we design the rooms, how we plan each day. Compassion, transparency, and the belief that excellent care and a true sense of home should always go hand in hand.
Over the past 3 years, Evergreen Haven has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted adult family homes in Thurston County. We are honored to serve a
vulnerable population and be home to some of the most inspiring people I have had the privilege of caring for. Our standards today are higher than ever, and the team that carries this mission forward is one I am deeply proud of.
Our purpose is to provide care that goes beyond the basics. A diagnosis does not define a person. Their interests, preferences, sense of humor, and daily routines do. We take the time to learn those things, and we build each day around them. That is what makes Evergreen Haven feel like home.
Our team operates by a few simple principles: treat every resident like family, lead with patience, follow through on what we say, and take care of each other so that the care stays consistent, even on the hard days. These are not words on a wall. They are the reason families trust us.
When we designed Evergreen Haven we wanted it to reflect the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Big windows pull in natural light and frame the trees that surround the property. Plants fill the rooms and the garden has become a favorite gathering place for residents and staff.
Set on the 15th hole of Capital City Golf Course, our home sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It’s a setting that feels like a true retreat; peaceful, open, and welcoming.
Since opening, Evergreen Haven has naturally become home to a close-knit group of women, and the energy in the house reflects that. There is laughter, conversation, and a bond between residents that makes this place feel alive.
While we support residents with a wide range of needs, we have developed particular depth in dementia and memory care. Through consistent daily routines and engaging activities, we have seen meaningful improvements in cognition and interaction. With a 1:4 caregiver-to-resident ratio, personalized care is not an aspiration here. It is how every day runs.
Licensed in 2022, Evergreen Haven has grown steadily through word of mouth and the trust of the families we serve. We have expanded our staff training programs and continue to invest in the systems and people that keep our care consistent.
We love to celebrate. Holidays, birthdays, or simply a good day worth marking. From backyard barbecues to tea parties and live music, we look for every excuse to gather and share joy.
Evergreen Haven is proud to be a member of the Adult Family Home Council and a sponsor of the Living Well Living Long Expo. We join senior resource fairs and local food drives because we believe a home like ours should be rooted in the community it serves.
Dolly brings years of hands-on experience supporting seniors in adult family settings. She oversees daily operations, manages staff training, and keeps communication open with families to ensure peace of mind.
“I want Evergreen Haven to feel like a true home—where residents are cared for like family and staff feel proud and supported in the work they do.”
Hi, I’m Kian, the owner of Evergreen Haven. I started this home out of a commitment to raising the standard of care in our community. I’m actively involved in daily operations to make sure every resident receives the attention, respect, and support they deserve. For me, this isn’t just a business—it’s a passion for creating a safe, welcoming place where people truly feel at home.
To all the families who trust Evergreen Haven: thank you. Caring for our residents is more than a job—it’s an honor. Every day we’re reminded that this is their home, and it’s a privilege to share in their stories, their laughter, and even the quiet moments. Your trust allows us to create a place where dignity, comfort, and genuine connection guide everything we do.
Evergreen Haven is more than a place to live. It is a home built on dignity, compassion, and genuine connection. Here, everyone is valued, heard, and truly belongs.
